Strategy/Positioning/Messaging: Positioned award-winning start-up restaurant for success with print collateral, interior & exterior signage, and interior design to reflect the selected tone and message developed through research and strategy exercises with proprietor.
Space Planning/Environmental Graphics/Interior Design: Specified, procured and coordinated interior design elements, including fabrications, materials, furniture, lighting, glassware, linens, decor, paint colors, etc. to reflect the brand. Designed exterior signage & window graphics to reflect the “Old World” nature of the brand. Worked closely with proprietor, architect, sign vendors and installation teams to unify all design elements and ensure seamless installation of all elements.
Graphic Design: Branding of all print materials [logo, menus, wine list, template and brand manual for internal use/daily updates] and promotional products [Tee shirts, aprons, hats, etc.].
Outcomes & Impact: New York Post April, 2016: one of 21 best seafood restaurants; Boston Magazine 2014: one of Boston’s 50 best restaurants; Boston Magazine 2015: Best Seafood restaurant in Boston. LHD has been approached by an LA-based entrepreneur to brand a restaurant franchise in China, emulating the Neptune Oyster brand.
