Project Highlights:

LHD partnered with pharmacy owner Esther Egesionu in undertaking a series of storefront improvements intended to strengthen her brand and make her store a worthy competitor of the Walgreens up the street. In creating an updated storefront design and brand identity our team sought to retain the loyalty of Kornfield's trusting customer base, while also positioning her brand as a viable alternative to a national retail chain. The discovery process was important in establishing a strategic messaging direction that elevated Kornfield's role as "Your Neighborhood Pharmacy" with affordable prices and natural remedies, as well as in informing design choices aimed to reinforce its identity as a traditional mom and pop store. Esther was moved to tears during our presentations of logo and facade concepts, and was demonstrably overjoyed and astonished to see her vision for her pharmacy so clearly realized.
