The LHD Process

Research includes gathering and analyzing primary and secondary research to identify the state of the marketplace and the state of your brand. Understanding your company’s history, key stakeholders, goals and objectives is imperative. Lindsay Hill Design will help identify business opportunities and find results-driven marketing solutions. In addition, we will help identify marketing media that are appropriate for your business and that work in an integrated manner.

Strategy involves thinking at a higher level about your overall business objectives and identifying your specific marketing objectives for each campaign and creative execution. A strategy is a plan of action designed to achieve a particular goal. Strategy deals with the “how” rather than the “what.” Lindsay Hill Design will make sure that your marketing strategy is well thought out and the expected results will justify the amount of time and effort put into the campaign. In the Design Strategy and Design Synthesis phase, LHD will develop an understanding of the design opportunity that exists. The goal: connecting our design methods to your business & marketing activities & objectives.

Positioning determines the direction for creating a concise and clear message that articulates your company and its offerings, and identifies the key points of differentiation from your competition. During this process, Lindsay Hill Design will assist in figuring out who your company is in the marketplace and how this should be communicated internally and externally.

Our Team

Lindsay Hill

Principal + Creative Director

For over 28 years, Lindsay has produced award-winning creative solutions for a wide variety of corporate, nonprofit, and public sector clients. Her talent and expertise lie in her ability to portray a client’s corporate culture in a concise, yet creative style. Lindsay earned a BS from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics, University of New Hampshire, with a Fine Arts minor. She is a teacher, lecturer, and portfolio review panelist at Massachusetts College of Art & Design [MassArt], as well as one of three founding professional mentors for the undergraduate and Graphic Design Certificate Program.

Adam Czachorowski

Graphic & Environmental Designer

After graduating from Allegheny College in 2004 with a degree in music, followed by a stint in graduate school for music theory. He ended up in an eight year career in finance before deciding to pursue his passion for art and design. Adam is currently a student in the MassArt certificate program in graphic design.

Kat McGrath

Interaction & Digital Media Designer

Kat is a recent graduate of the Studio for Interrelated Media at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She enjoys working on digital and UX projects, often challenging traditional design narratives. Having taken graphic design classes at MassArt, and studying Interaction Design at the University of the Arts London, her work is informed by design research and process. When she’s not working, you can find her attempting to try every chai latte in Boston. She hopes to one day to pursue a Master’s Degree abroad.

Becky Jeeves

Studio Manager

Becky joins us from the U.K where she worked as a Marketing Manager for Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers – helping to promote book and journal portfolios. Her love of travel and passion for engaging in demanding and challenging environments led her to Lindsey Hill Design where she enjoys working alongside a team of highly talented individuals. Becky is also studying for a Marketing Management Graduate Certificate at Harvard Extension School. She is an aspiring wordsmith and enjoys proof reading and copy editing.

Yerri Portillo

Junior Designer

Since learning the  Adobe Suite back in high school, Yerri finds himself studying Business Management and Design at Lesley University. When not riding the T back and forth he can be seen walking around Boston with friends or just relaxing at home.
